Waste Treatment Facility
The London, Ontario composting facility was our first plant in Canada. Located between Toronto and Windsor, this facility uses composting technology designed to process organic waste that usually does not contain garden waste.
We collaborated with local leaders to help them launch an organic waste collection program primarily consisting of kitchen waste and diapers collected in plastic bags.
The odour abatement system used at this facility is specially designed to process organic waste with little to no carbon source.

The on-going economic benefits of our London ON facility include:
- 16 to 18 full time jobs
- 1 FTE student jobs
- 70,000+ metric tons of organics diverted from landfill every year
- Compost is used by local food growers & landscapers
