Holiday Message from Mike Leopold

This time last year I was looking ahead to a better year that saw the end of COVID-19. While 2021 started out looking much the same as 2020, we started to find hope in vaccine rollouts and lifted restrictions. We hugged our loved ones, gathered for celebrations, and maybe even started traveling again. As I reflect upon this past year, I would like to thank our dedicated staff who have gone above and beyond in maintaining our vital work in protecting the environment and overseeing major projects at our facilities to improve our process and efficiencies. 

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the health and well-being of our employees and customers have been our top priority. In support of that, we have continued to monitor and adhere to strict precautions to protect our colleagues and their families. We are following the advice of all governments and public health experts, and proactively implementing precautionary measures such as staffing restrictions, and enhanced cleaning and screening measures. 

Our organization has seen many changes this year, and the latest COVID-19 news isn’t exactly promising, but I am beyond grateful to our teams who come onto site every day to ensure business continuity. It is a privilege to serve this great organization with all of you, even during these trying times. 

As we approach the holiday season during another wave of uncertainty, I would like to wish you and your loved ones a happy and healthy holiday season. I remain hopeful for a better 2022 and I wish you and your families moments of peace, health, joy, and happiness.
